U.E. Advanced Newspaper Proof 1942
This advanced proof was for publication Tuesday Feb. 3, 1942 in the St. Louis Globe Democrat, St.Louis Post Dispatch, St.Louis Star Times, East St. Louis Journal, and the Alton Evening Telegraph. This proof is announcing the openning of a new power plant titled Venice NO. 2. The large words say, Another Union Electric Power Plant Enlists in the Greater St. Louis War Production Job. The paragraph at the bottom explains the location and the need for another power plant in St. Louis. This proof comes with the original envolope that it was mailed in. There are no folds that are not origainal. There are no actual tears but there are sone week spots from the original folds.
