brother juniper newspaper comic- scrapbook collection. fred mc carthy was the creator of the daily newspaper cartoon, brother juniper. he was an American franscian monk who later devoted his efforts to the cartoon. the cartoon ran from 1958 to 1989, and was noted as being the only religious themed comic to be syndicated internationally by newspapers. this scrapbook collection of literally hundreds of the daily cartoon have been lovingly collected. there are two scrapbooks of the brother juniper cartoons available. one is slightly smaller than the other, but sell for 40.00 each.
